At this week’s LEaT con 25 expo in Hamburg, visitors are welcomed by Eternal Pulse, a hanging piece of video art created by Belgian companies Painting With Light (PWL) and FRAMELED. The installation brings together design, technology, and sustainability in a single striking statement.
A Belgian collaboration
The collaboration began when LEaT con’s organizers discovered FRAMELED’s Pulse technology at ISE 2025 in Barcelona and asked the company to create a centerpiece for the event. Among several Belgian designers invited to contribute, a concept by PWL was selected, marking the start of a close partnership.
Based on FRAMELED’s modular Pulse technology, PWL developed the design and motion content, while FRAMELED provided the technical integration and construction. The adaptable structure can be reconfigured and reused for future events, illustrating how innovation and conscious design can go hand in hand to reduce material waste and extend product lifespan.
Symbol of connection
Designers Milan Nullens and Jo Segers of PWL describe Eternal Pulse as an exploration of connection and contrast. “The installation consists of two intertwined helix shapes that symbolize the collaboration between FRAMELED and PWL,” he explains. “A duality between FRAMELED and PWL, between technology and creativity, two elements that intertwine and strengthen each other.”
Technical specifications
The piece is built from 320 FRAMELED™ Pulse Q100 video strips, stretching 16 meters in length, with a diameter of around 1 meter and a height of 4 to 5 meters.
Innovation in the event industry
Eternal Pulse stands as both an artistic centerpiece and a statement on the future of event production. It also highlights the growing presence of Belgian companies in the international event and entertainment industry, where our innovation and quality craftsmanship continue to earn global recognition.
